Best Western Plus Hotel Carlton Annecy

The room was exactly as requested (top floor). It was bright, quiet, fresh and very clean. Great aircon. All the room and bathroom facilities were of a high standard and worked well. The fridge/minibar offered very good choices. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of pillows! The wrap around balcony with seating was wonderful night and day for the views. The buffet breakfast was exceptional and all items replenished speedily. Very welcoming and helpful breakfast staff. Special thank you to the Reception Staff who were very friendly and efficient on check in/out and throughout our stay. This is a wonderful hotel from which to explore Annecy (very central and with private, secure parking) and I can only imagine it would also be wonderful to visit in winter. Train station a short walk away if required.

We were stranded on N90 after a rock slide halted about 40,000 travelers through the tarentaise valley. We were able to turn around and were lucky to book one of the last rooms at this hotel. We were unfamiliar with Annecy as we were traveling from Lyon but it ended up being a wonderful stop in our trip! Special mention to Jose at the front desk who was under an immense amount stress trying to accommodate all lobby full of us and was so incredibly professional and kind. This is a gem of a hotel in a great location!

Great stay. We arrived, reception call the housekeeping to make our room ready by 13:00. Very helpful on a cold day. We got restaurant recommendation. The room itself is very nice and comfortable. We had the room with balcony and view on the mountains. 24/7 reception which is very helpful. We were able to leave our bags before checkin and after checkout. We had a late train on checkout and Jassinta even heat our food. Great experience!

We enjoyed our stay in a room with a big balcony (paying extra for having a balcony was a good choice). Very clean and comfortable hotel, good value for money. Exactly as on the pictures. Professional and friendly staff at the reception. For parking we received a key to a private garage box. The staff communicated perfectly to us that the parking could be narrow for wide cars, so I recommend to check with them first if you drive a big SUV.

We had a beautiful room with a fab view of the Castle. Clean, updated and very comfortable bed. Bathroom was clean and modern. No complaints. Have stayed here 3 times now and highly recommend. Also has underground safe parking at a cost of 22 Euro's for 2 nights. Breakfast is wonderful. Lots of options and very nice staff. Worth it for sure.
